Julie is our friendly office manager who will likely be your first point of call when you contact us. She is a qualified counsellor who has raised 4+ kids and been happily married for over 30 years.

Dick is an accountant who loves to crack jokes and is out on his boat fishing any time he isn't working.

Désirée has been a business owner since 2009 and is mother of two and also runs the Clothing by Désirée fashion label.

About Us

Porirua Tawa Tax is a reputable business that has been fulfilling the tax needs of many for over 30 years.

In 2013 Dick Kurtz took over the business, gave it a new paint job and has built upon the great foundation it already had. Charles Turner joined the business in 2016 with Désirée Turner following in 2017 and Julie Kurtz in 2020.

As of 2023 Charles Turner and his wife Désirée Turner (daughter of Dick and Julie Kurtz) have purchased the business and are proud to carry on this family business as Dick Kurtz begins to wind down towards retirement.

We are now located in a beautiful new premise in Tawa and the business continues to grow and flourish and we look forward to working with you.
